Whether it's grief, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, coping with change is a deeply personal and oftentimes challenging experience. The arise of complex emotions can feel overwhelming while simultaneously adjusting to life without what we once knew. We evolve in stages, of course, but we connect with evolution in the form of a trinity: life before, during, and after change. Our therapy sessions support the mental and emotional processes by providing a heartfelt, sacred space to release emotions, digesting their complexity, and easing emotional distress. Addressing the emotions creates nourishing soil for growing a new outlook on life, directing the change into meaningful purpose.

According to the CDC, the attributes to wellness are organized into five interconnected categories: genetics, behavior, environmental and physical influences, medical care, and social factors. CSU Pueblo, a Colorado state based university, adds a few more specific categories to the list, stating that occupational, financial, spiritual, and intellectual factors also contribute to our health. Each of these categories have the ability to influence our daily lives, activities of daily living, and over all well being. Health conditions can change our reality and the way we relate to the world around us, including those we love- and even ourselves. Whether it is renewing the way we view our worthiness or searching for relief from physical and non-physical symptoms, holistic therapy for health conditions is a great addition to your care plan. The aim with this service is to frame a mindset that supports the feeling of freedom while living with your condition, and to provide support to the emotional, physical, intellectual, and energetic bodies. By working with the non-physical contributions to the illness and/or symptoms, clients can experience a better sense of well-being.

Chronic pain can derive from many sources: injury, illness, disease, arthritis, cancer, or deficiencies. While there are many elements that create a care plan for pain management, holistic therapy is a great addition to consider. Reiki is a non-invasive, non-drug induced form of pain management. Reiki for chronic pain works to relax the mind and body, providing relief with the intention to reduce cognitive, physical, mental, and emotional symptoms related to the source of pain. With the aim to improve the client's quality of life, sessions use a combination of therapeutic modalities to alleviate symptoms. This session is a whole body treatment with a special focus to the area of chronic pain.

While training as a nurse's aid years ago, Founder Amber Lee satisfied the clinical hours in an extended care facility. As anyone would expect, there were a variety of conditions the residents experienced. While some patients just needed a supportive environment that cared for their basic needs, others were total care.
"There was a woman at the end of the hallway in the last room on the right. I remember assisting her like it was yesterday. She had late-stage Alzheimer's disease. She was a total care resident who no longer had the ability to care for her body. While nurturing her fragile body, she became combative. It was during the experience that I felt such a deep level of empathy. One soul to another. I went home thinking about what I had witnessed, wishing there was more I could do to ease her suffering. Fast forward to present day, as I'm sure she's been resting peacefully for some time now, I still have the desire to ease the suffering of the fellow humans who, too, could benefit from a gentle, loving experience in spite of their condition. After studying hard for a decade, I have created a form of therapy for those with memory related diagnoses."
This service is versatile in the sense that it's easily done by a hands-off approach, depending on preferences and/or severity. The aim of this session is to use research based therapeutic methods to cultivate a treatment that provides pain relief, relaxation, and works to calm the nervous system, in turn, reducing agitation. Along with many other benefits, this session also reduces anxiety, depression, improves sleep and increases cognitive function. Care takers who just need a moment to relax, receive, and have a restorative environment designed specifically with them in mind, this is for you. Nurturing those around us requires a lot of heartfelt energy and it's easier to give when you feel balanced, cared for, and supported. Our bodies take on a lot mentally, physically, and emotionally while serving as a caregiver. This service is designed with nurture in mind: a dimly lit room, a warm bed, blankets, and relaxing music in the background.
For those of you who are pregnant, Reiki can also aid in pregnancy symptoms and help prepare the body for birth. Additionally, this service provides postnatal support as the body heals and works to restore normal hormonal ranges.

Children are arguably one of society's most vulnerable group of citizens who, are often shaped by experiences beyond their control. Our child-led therapy services are designed to support children facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges. Through personalized sessions, we help children understand and manage their feelings, improve self-esteem, and develop healthy relationships. Our counselors use age-appropriate techniques to ensure each child feels comfortable and understood.

As we know, humans belong to the animal kingdom. The animal kingdom is broad, containing many organisms that are grouped based upon their shared characteristics. What connects all of the organisms despite the species, which is considered the most strict level of classification? Energy! Energy is the most "fundamental" fabric. It's what creates our perception, which, in turn, provides insight on our experiences. Animals, too, perceive the world around them, and sometimes they need assistance. Like humans, animals grieve, can feel the affects of aging, change, pain, and even feelings! Have you ever seen an animal feel upset, nervous, shy, uncomfortable, joyful, etc? Holistic Therapy sessions are great for them, too! Whether it is a pet or an animal at a sanctuary, zoo, or shelter, all animals can benefit from the gentle, balancing techniques of energy therapy. Some examples for an animal in need of an energy healing session: change in ownership, aging, having an operation, injury, chronic pain, past abandonment or abuse, depression, anxiety, or adverse effects from living in confinement. It's even great for expectant mothers!

For those wanting to broaden their perception, Energy 101 will cover all the basics from energy body recognition and terminology, to learning how to utilize the tools provided in this course.
