Meet Amber Lee

Amber Lee, founder of Florence School of Reiki, works to educate individuals, as well as businesses, on the benefits of holistic healthcare, why it works, and how it can be applied in a balanced, supportive manner. Working intimately, Amber is able to educate and aid clients in a personalized manner. A vocation for her platform, she is an advocate for mental-emotional care integration. It is a core belief that with the solution of integrated care within daily living and healthcare facilities, we as a society can overcome many challenges by adding the cutting-edge and modern, yet timeless, techniques holistic care has to offer.
Amber discovered the depth of holistic therapy when her own trauma led to the search of working solutions capable of providing more than coping skills and treatments, a search for true recovery. After searching high and low, she decided to give the holistic world a try-- but out of transparency, didn't expect to find the level of practicality, let alone advancement, that she did. After becoming equal parts intrigued and humbled, Amber decided to pull up a chair and learn from masters all over the world.
"I have been extensively researching and studying energy medicine and holistic therapeutic methods for 10 years. With a concentrated study on the mental-emotional body, I witnessed the direct impact it had on physical life, health conditions, and the ability to make supportive lifestyle changes.
However, I also noticed that a lot of the certifications were quick and lacked the structure needed to obtain a comprehensive understanding of holistic therapies and how the blending of modalities can achieve better results. With applicability in mind, I have created courses that specifically benefit the healthcare setting and those who are dedicated to the concentration of Energy Medicine and Holistic Therapies."
Born into a lineage of passionate educators, Founder Amber Lee is a double certified Reiki Master Teacher with completion of both the Shamanic Training and Advanced Shamanic Training Programs. She also has completed certificates in Color, Sound, and Art Therapies, Alternative Medicine, and Meditation. Using the knowledge obtained through hospital experience with over 200 hours of clinical training, Amber also blends the attention to detail of Nursing Assistance into the care of patients and clients.
"I am constantly continuing my education by taking courses in order to better myself as a practitioner, teacher, and advocate. The original intention of the healthcare oath was to be a servant to the needs of others, so obtaining information that helps me better serve the community is nurturing on a personal level. I also enjoy reading case studies and staying current on the effects environmental factors have on the interconnections of the mental, emotional, intellectual, and physical realities. My experiences helped me to see where the deficit is, which plays a vital role in the development of facilitating methods that blend holistic and western healthcare. My intention when creating Florence School of Reiki was to mediate between the two healthcare worlds and delegate a new level of care that involves not only a realistic scope of practice, but a new standard of care that entails caring for the patient on all levels of reality."
An asset to the community, Amber provides a network of holistic practitioners to help meet your needs. "Feel free to reach out with questions of how I can help you, your healthcare facility, or assist your endeavors of leading a balanced, peaceful life. I offer therapy sessions, classes, certifications, and provide advice on what changes to make in order to achieve your wellness goals. It is an honor to meet you and thank you so much for stopping by! I look forward to working with you!"

Fun Facts!

The caboose in the Florence School of Reiki logo is a wink to the city of Florence, but serves as a tribute to my grandfather, James McColl, who loved all things trains. He and a few of his pals owned the caboose in downtown Florence for many years. It was lovely inside! Core memories were formed when he and I would visit the caboose together. We were inseparable! The caboose was later donated to the city of Florence. While it is part of Florence’s history, it’s also part of mine.

My favorite Disney Princess is Tiana from Princess and The Frog

When I’m not home, you’re most likely to find me at Bean Bar in Florence, SC, making new memories with my Girl Scout Troop, or visiting one of the many wonderful local parks! I enjoy being involved in our city! It’s common to find me at most any local event. I love my city!

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite movie. Downton Abbey is my favorite television show.

Music plays a vital role in my life. Classical music is my favorite genre with rock coming in a close second. Greta Van Fleet is hands down my most favorite show I’ve attended.
